Refractories for Coke Oven

Coke oven is the basic equipment of coking plant, which is a complex structure and continuous production of thermal equipment. It is mainly composed of combustor, carbonization chamber, regenerator chamber, furnace top, ramp and small flue. It is used to heat the coal to 950-1100℃ in isolation from the air, and to produce coke and other products by dry distillation.
The life of a coke oven is generally 25-30 years, and the used refractory materials are mainly silicon brick, clay brick and high aluminum brick.
Silicon brick is used for partition between carbonization chamber and combustion chamber. The bottom of coking chamber is also using silicon brick. Clay brick is used for regenerator lattice.
