Refractory for ammonia gasifier

(1) There are two kinds of ammonia gasifiers, Texaco type and Shell type, using residual oil as raw material. After preheating the residue oil through the burner on the top of the gasifier, it is injected into the combustor at a speed of 500t per day and reacts with oxygen and steam at 1350~1450℃ and pressure of 8.53mpa to produce mixed gas dominated by CO+H2 and a small amount of carbon black and slag. When it enters the emergency cooling chamber, the gas and slag are separated, and the process gas enters the ammonia system. The lining materials of Texaco and Shell residuum gasifier are high purity corundum brick, alumina hollow brick and solid jade castable, and the lining life is 2~3 years.

 

(2) The ammonia gasifier with CWS as raw material is Texaco type gasifier. Taking coal as raw material, it is processed into transportable coal water slurry, which is injected into the gasifier with oxygen at the same time. Coal water slurry goes through preheating, water evaporation, coal pyrolysis, volatiles and gasification, and finally is made into the synthetic process gas of CO+H2. Because the gas contains 10%~20% ash, and the melting point is high. So in the production process must produce a large number of low melting point furnace slag. The melting point of coal slag containing high calcium is low and the erosion of furnace lining is serious. Therefore, the use of coal slag corrosion resistance of the best high chromium refractory, lining service life has reached 20,000 h.
