Sillimanite brick

Silicalite brick is a firebrick with good properties prepared by high temperature firing or mud pouring of silicalite minerals. High temperature calcination of silylitic is converted to mullite and free silica. Generally, high temperature firing method and mud pouring method are used for production. Compared with clay brick, silica wire brick and mullite brick have higher softening point under high temperature load. They have a dense fine structure, and are not easy to produce bubbles in the glass liquid, so they are very suitable for the feed tank, mud tube, punch and feed bowl. Only under special circumstances, they are used as kiln bricks.
