Refractories Requipments for Rotary Kiln

Unshaped refractories is widely used for aluminum industry nowadays. kiln mouth of rotary kiln is easily damaged because of high temperature high-temperature wear and thermal shock stress. The environment temperature of alumina rotary kiln transitional zone is 400-1000℃. The lining often falls off because of alkali attack and mechanical destruction such as shake and warp.
Refractories for rotary kiln lining should have the following characteristics:1)Strong resistance to alkali erosion . 2)It can work under the high temperature of 1200-1300℃ for a long time without damage. 3)Resistance to erosion of charge material. 4) Resistance to erosion of airflow. The refractories used in the rotary kiln are mainly high-alumina bricks and magnesia-chrome bricks, while the low-temperature drying kiln uses clay bricks as the lining.
