Refractories for Hot Blast Stove

Vault is the space which connects the combustor and regenerative chamber，including work floor brick, filling material layer and insulation. The temperature of vault is more than 1400℃ so the high alumina bricks used in working layer are low creep high alumina brick .Silicon brick, mullite brick, sillimanite brick，andalusite brick or low creep high alumina brick are also acceptable.
Hot blast furnace wall means the wall of hot blast stove body, includings woring layer brick, filling material layer and insulation. Working layer use different refractory bricks whose thickness between 300-500mm according to the temperature.
Silicon brick, mullite brick are usually used for above part where the temperature is highest. High alumina brick, sillimanite brick and clay bricks are used in lower middle part. Lightweight clay bricks are built outside of the high temperature working layer for heat preservation.
Regenerative chamber is a space filled with checker brick which is mainly used for heat exchage with high temperature flue gas and combustion air through inside checker brick.
Combustor is the space where gas firing and the silicon brick, mullte brick or low creep high alumina brick are used for high temperature area ,while medium and low temperature area uses common high alumina brick and clay brick.
