Refractories for Plate Glass Kiln

Followings introduce the refractories for each part of plate glass kiln.
Kiln bottom
Clay brick , zirconite or AZS ramming mass are used for kiln bottom.
Melting area uses 33# AZS brick.
Sidewall
33# 36#, and 41# AZS brick, all can be used for melting area of sidewall.
Crown
Crown of melting area uses high quality silica brick which is 96%SiO2.
Regenerative chamber
If there are no special requirements, 98%-97% and 96%-95% grade magnesia brick are used at 1300-1100℃. Directly bonded magnesia chrome brick is used at 1100-800℃. And clay brick is OK if the temperature less than 800℃
