Refractories for Incinerator

Incinerator used refractories are divided into firebrick products and unshaped refractories. Firebricks include clay brick, high - alumina brick, silicon carbide brick.  Unshaped refractory is made of clay or high alumina plastic and clay, SiC castable. In recent years, the dosage of SiC castable and phosphate bonded high alumina castable are increasing because of excellent wear resistance.
Generally, the refractories for incinerator are required to have the following features:
(1)High strength and good wear resistance
(2)Good volume stability and acid resistance.
(3)Good thermal shock resistance.
(4)Good resistance to CO erosion.
(5)Good heat resistance and insulation.
Of course, the choice of refractories for incinerator also depends on the service environment and temperature.
