Refractories for EAF

Eaf is mainly used for steelmaking by scrap steel. Waste steel, lime, etc. are added into the furnace. When electrified, an arc occurs between the electrode and the waste steel, and the charge is heated. The waste steel is converted into steel after a series of metallurgical chemical reactions.
With the development of industrialization,  scrap steel in the world has increased. EAF steelmaking has developed a series of new technologies especially in recent years . Eaf steelmaking is faster and similar to converter, and the cost of steelmaking is further reduced.
