Steel-smelting and Refractories

The Steel-smelting could not start without refractories so refractories is the indispensable basical material for Iron and Steel Industry. And the refractories would not develop well without the develop of iron and steel industry because about 70% refractories are used for iron and steel industry .The connection of refractories and iron & steel industry shows like following.
First, refractories can guarantee the stability and economy of steel-smelting as the vessel of  molten steel.
Second,refractories play an important role in ensuring the quality of molten steel.
The development of steel-smelting technology would be hindered without new refractories because the new technology of steel-smelting need the support of new refractories.
Opposite,the new refractories which suitable for new steel-smelting technology would promote the development of steel-smelting as well. That’s why refractories is the basical material not the auxiliary material.
