Aluminum Silicate Gunning Material

Refractory gunning  materials with Al2O3 and SiO2 as the main components are aluminum silicate gunning  material, which are heavy, semi-light and light gunning  materials. Heavy gunning  material refers to the volume density of not less than 1.8 g/cm3 gunning , half light gunning  material volume density of 1.3 ~ 1.8 g/cm3, light gunning  material volume density is less than 1.3 g/cm3. Heavy jet (tu) mainly for working lining or repair material, half light gunning  material can make heat insulation lining body, and can work as a low temperature in the furnace atmosphere lining body, and light gunning  material is mainly used for heat preservation and heat insulation lining.
(1) heavy quality spray coating is made of clay clinker or high aluminum clinker as aggregate and powder, with ordinary or pure calcium aluminate cement as binder, and additives. Calcium aluminate cement content is generally 15%~25%. The particle size composition of spray coating has a great influence on the operation of spray coating (adhesion rate and packing density, etc.) and the physical properties of the liner after construction, so it must be properly controlled. The general particle size composition is 5~2mm,30%~35%. 2-0.088 mm, 25% ~ 30%; Less than 0.088mm, 35%~40%. The water content during dry spraying is about 10%~16%.
(2) semi-lightweight spray coating is made of clayey or high alumina dense aggregate and its lightweight aggregate by a certain proportion, and then add an appropriate amount of the same material powder, with ordinary calcium aluminate cement or solid powder instant sodium silicate (sodium fluorosilicate coagulant) as a binder and additives. Its volume density depends on the ratio of dense refractory aggregate and lightweight refractory aggregate to mix, can also be directly prepared with semi-lightweight aggregate. The lightweight or semi-lightweight aggregate used is porous clay clinker or high aluminum clinker, clayey or high aluminum ceramsite, fly ash float bead, etc. When calcium aluminate cement is used as the binding agent, the adding amount is 20%~25%. If the solid powder sodium silicate as a binder, the amount of the addition is 2%~5%, also need to add an appropriate amount of coagulant. The particle size composition is similar to that of heavy spray coatings. The water content is 15%~20% during dry spraying.
(3) light spray coating is the use of lightweight clinker as aggregate, with ordinary calcium aluminate cement and Portland cement powder and binder, and admixture, and adopted by the light of clinker include: fly ash floating bead, expanded perlite, expanded vermiculite, porous clay clinker, clay ceramsite sand, light brick and aluminosilicate short fiber, etc. Generally, lightweight spray coating is based on the use requirements (volume density, thermal conductivity), by several lightweight clinker composition. The particle size composition of the aggregate must be adjusted according to the operating performance (adhesion rate, accumulation density) and the physical performance of the construction body (combined strength and thermal conductivity), generally 5~1.2mm,35%~40%; 1.2 ~ 0.3 mm, 20% ~ 30%; Less than 0.3mm,20%~30%. Cement content is 25%~35%. The water content during dry spraying is 20%~40%.
The aluminosilicate spray coating is mainly used as the lining of flue and chimney of industrial furnace, the lining of heat insulation of blast furnace and hot air furnace, the lining of cyclone separator outside the kiln of rotary kiln, the lining of heat insulation and working lining of catalytic cracking unit of petrochemical industry, the lining of steel ladle and tunic, the lining of heat insulation or working lining of rolling steel heating furnace and various heat treatment furnace. Table 17-29 shows the technical performance of fireproof spray coatings used in different parts of blast furnace and hot air furnace, and table 17-30 shows the technical performance of fireproof spray coatings used in general smoke Windows and flue.

Spray operation technology has a great impact on the coating adhesion rate and coating quality. Therefore, the following problems should be paid attention to during the spraying operation:
(1) the amount of water added should be appropriate. If the amount of water is too large, the coating is prone to flow, too small wetting is not uniform, the adhesion rate is low, and the rebound is large;
(2) when spraying, the wind pressure and air volume should be appropriate. If it is too large, the spring back will be large and the adhesion force will be insufficient.
