Acid Resistant Refractory Castable

The castable which can resistant to acid medium(nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid,acetic acid)at 800-1200℃ is called  acid -resistant castable . The castable is consist  of acid refractories as aggregate and powder,  sodium silicate as binding agent, fianlly adding some a few coagulant.
This castable does not resistant to alkali, hot phosphoric acid, hydrofluoric acid and high fat. The raw materials are widely used in metallurgy,  petrochemical industry and light industry with  rich source and cheap price.
Generally, the composition of ingredients is aggregate 60%-70%, powder 30%-40%, adding 1.38-1.42g·cm3  water glass solution and the hardening  accelerator  sodium silicofluoride
is 10%-12% of water glass solution .
Acid-resistant castable is mainly used for liners of vessel corroded by acid high temperature gas, such as corrosion resistant flue, chimney lining, acid recovery furnace lining and inner lining of nitric acid concentration tower.
